A serious fire outbreak is rocking Abule-Egba community in Lagos. The inferno is reportedly caused by activities of pipeline vandals which led to an explosion in the area.
The fire started by 7pm today Sunday, January 19th 2020. Residential and commercial houses are affected as the fire engulfed the neighborhood – with many people scampering to safety.
It is reported that vandals caused the explosion from the pipelines, which extended to Awori and Command Axis of Abule Egba, Lagos.
It was gathered that men of the fire service is yet to arrive the scene of the incident which has been burning for hours. It has destroyed many properties in the area.
About 150 people has been assumed to be casualties while the fire is still burning, but the total number of casualties are yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.
